Lowell Group employs the power of social media to fill 100 new jobs in Leeds
Leeds-based Lowell Group, a specialist in consumer debt recovery services, is looking to recruit 100 new team members over the next two months.
In order to fill these roles, Lowell is aiming to use social media to promote the new jobs with the launch of #LifeAtLowell.
The company provides a range of credit management services including debt purchase and recovery to organisations such as banks, credit card companies, mobile phone operators and online retailers, and is currently helping more than 13 million customers to clear their debts and repair their credit files.
Lowell Group has created more than 200 new jobs in the last two years and currently employs around 1,300 people in Leeds and a further 250 in the south of England.
The new jobs created are for customer service roles and positions in IT, credit and risk.
All roles are based at its head offices in Leeds Valley Park, a business park located three miles south east of the city centre and within the city’s Aire Valley Enterprise Zone.
Emma Piper, Lowell’s resourcing and recruitment manager, said: “Recent research showed that 73% of job seekers aged 18 to 34 found their last job through social media.
“It’s something we want to tap into and we will be launching our #lifeatlowell campaign, promoting careers at Lowell on Facebook, Twitter and LinkedIn.”
