WCIT Winner finishes top of Tech Track 100
WCIT Enterprise Award Winner Secures Top Spot in Sunday Times Hiscox Tech Track 100 while others Show Strongly in League Table
The Worshipful Company of Information Technologists (WCIT) is pleased to announce that UKCloud, formerly Skyscape Cloud Services, and winner in the Public Sector category at this year’s WCIT Enterprise Awards, has achieved top ranking in the Sunday Times Hiscox Tech Track 100 League Table. Other WCIT Enterprise Award winners, or nominees, in the Top 50 were RateSetter, Fairsail, FanDuel and PrivateFly.
Peer-to-peer lending company, RateSetter, was ranked in the Tech Track table (at number 15), while cloud-based HR software provider, Fairsailfinished in 21st position in the Tech Track list. One further former Enterprise Award winner, FanDuel was ranked at 18 and a former nominee, PrivateFly made it to number 46 in the table.
“The annual WCIT Enterprise Awards have just had their sixth birthday and continue to go from strength to strength,” says Chairman, John O’Connell. “The ringing endorsement former nominees and award winners have received in this year’s Tech Track 100 table underlines the credibility of the awards and their justified reputation as the Oscars of the Technology Industry. We would like to congratulate them all for their achievements.”
In addition to the main League Table entries, RefME, whose CEO and co-founder, Tom Hatton was named Young Entrepeneur at the WCIT 2016 awards, was listed in the Tech Track Ones to Watch table, as was previous WCIT award nominee, Flubit.
