Teesside law firm rated best in business

Endeavour Partnership has been recognised as one of the North East’s leading corporate and commercial practices in an influential guide.

Stockton-based Endeavour Partnership has been ranked in the top tier of the trusted industry guide The Legal 500, which also highlights key partners as some of the best in their field.

The legal firm’s corporate and commercial, dispute resolution and commercial property departments have been placed in the top tier of the Legal 500’s rankings.

Endeavour’s managing partner, Paul Bury, was commended by the guide as standing out for his ‘patience, comprehension and timing’ while Lee Bramley, partner and head of litigation at Endeavour Partnership, is described as ‘an extremely knowledgeable lawyer who is good at seeing the wider picture and achieving clients’ aims’.

The Legal 500 also singled out Endeavour for having ‘the strongest reputation for commercial litigation in the Teesside area’ and its service ‘which is comparable to London firms but with a regional fee structure’.

In addition, Paul Bury and Simon Wake, partner and head of commercial property, were named as elite ‘leading lawyers’ on the list of the Legal 500’s 2016 guide to outstanding lawyers nationwide.

Managing partner Paul Bury said: “Endeavour’s clients include regional and national businesses as well as multi-national corporations and we attribute our success to our team’s ability to understand the business needs of our clients in a precise and efficient manner whilst providing a service at a realistic price.

“Our clients are assigned a specifically selected team of lawyers and benefit from the firm’s City-standard service, its excellent connections and experience of working with businesses from a vast range of sectors.

“We’re exceptionally proud to be based on Teesside and to be able to more than hold our own against big city counterparts. Recognition from the prestigious Legal 500 confirms that we are now competing with the Leeds and Newcastle heavyweights and we will continue to build on this in all of our departments.”

At the start of 2016, Endeavour Partnership announced that it intended to begin a period of recruitment with plans to create a number of new roles in 2016. Over the summer months, four new jobs were created thanks to a continued demand for Endeavour’s range of legal services. In the last 12 months alone, Endeavour Partnership has created 11 new roles taking staff numbers to 51.

The firm, with a reputation spanning over 16 years, provides high quality advice on a range of business law matters including employment mergers and acquisitions, intellectual property, litigation, commercial property and corporate recovery and insolvency from its headquarters at Teesdale in Stockton.
