Vivark wins £2.5m Salford Royal hospital contract
Property refurbishment firm Vivark has won a five year contract, worth £500k a year, to maintain and refresh the entirety of Salford Royal NHS Foundation Trust’s buildings.
The Prescot-based firm will carry out refurbishment, alterations and estates services work to all the various properties at the NHS site.
As a social enterprise, Vivark delivers social impact in the areas they operate in. The business has pledged to continually reinvest profits back into the Salford area, to help local people and grassroots organisations strengthen their communities.
Phil Webster, Vivark’s Group Director of Facilities and Asset Management, said: “We are delighted to have won this contract. Salford Royal Foundation Trust is an ‘Outstanding’ Trust, and we’re honoured to be working alongside them. The hospital cares for the community, and in turn we’ll care for the hospital facilities.
“To ensure we continue to go the extra mile in everything we do, we pledge to make sure we give something back to the area, strengthening local communities and providing people with what they need to lay the foundations for a brighter future.
“This is a milestone in the growing relationship between Salford Royal NHS Foundation Trust, Vivark, and the people living in the local area. We’re very much looking forward to what the next five years will hold.”
