New jobs to be created as £500k investment results in expansion for Hull recruiters

A Hull-based recruitment firm is set to create dozens of new jobs after using a six-figure investment to relocate to a new, dedicated centre of operations.

Brothers Charles and William Draper founded SureStaffing and Brothers Recruitment just under two and a half years ago.

With an investment of more than £500k rolled out over the last six months, the business has now relocated to a three-storey, 4,500sq ft building at Commerce house on Hessle Road.

Charles Draper, managing director and founder of SureStaffing, and William Draper, managing director of Brothers Recruitment, aim to provide recruitment solutions for individuals and organisations nationwide, seeking career advancement.

Charles said: “We are focused on strengthening our position as modern, profitable organisations by fulfilling the wants, needs and expectations of our customers.

“Although we are still in the very early stages of our journey, we continue to invest heavily in new people, new IT and new office accommodation. Our aim is to innovate and create value for workers and organisations alike so that we all grow stronger together.

“Maintaining our point of difference in a competitive market is central to the ongoing success of our businesses. Our combined investment for the new offices was key in terms of the financial provision and man hours to carry out a full refurbishment.”

SureStaffing is the specialist ‘blue collar’ recruiter, finding permanent, temporary and contract workers for a range of companies in a variety of industrial sectors throughout the country.

Brothers Recruitment was established shortly afterwards to provide career advancement for individuals in ‘white collar’ positions. The company operates across sectors including Information Technology, Logistics, Clerical, Healthcare, Automotive, Engineering and Rail.

William added: “It has been a case of applying our insight into how the different industry sectors function, establishing their exact needs now and driving forward from there.

“There is no substitute for knowledge when it comes to building strong partnerships. Our specialists work closely with our clients every step of the way to ensure we match them with strong, suitable individuals.

“We constantly monitor and analyse our customers’ requirements to ensure we adapt to their changing behaviour. We want to give customers as simple and enjoyable a recruitment experience as possible, whichever way they choose to engage with us.
