Financial Technology event takes shape
The first ever major event for financial technology entrepreneurs and business owners to be held in Bristol is taking shape with contributors coming from all over the country
Bristol FinTech will be held at the offices of law firm Clarke Willmott LLP in the centre of Bristol on November 23 when start-up businesses, global businesses, entrepreneurs, business owners and legal and financial experts will all take part.
Financial Technology specialist Partner Ed Foulkes of Clarke Willmott and Intellectual Property Partner Susan Hall, both based in Manchester will be contributing along with financial specialists from Deepbridge Capital LLP.
Mark Polson, founder and Principal of The Lang Cat, based in Leith near Edinburgh is also coming to the West Country to provide professional advice on communications in financial businesses. Also confirmed is London-based Pete Trainor of Nexus, who specialise in designing human-focussed digital solutions.
Philippa Hann, Partner at Clarke Willmott said: “The aim is to have up to 100 people in one place her in Bristol representing the cutting edge of the FinTech revolution. We will be looking at all aspects of FinTech business and how it is taking shape here in the West Country.”
