Trethowans flexes its credentials in Legal 500
Law firm Trethowans has reinforced its credentials as one of the best in the region, with a string of commendations in the latest edition of the Legal 500.
The Legal 500 independently assesses law firms throughout the UK and Trethowans, which has offices in Poole, Salisbury, Southampton and Winchester, has received praise for 19 teams and 19 individual experts in this year’s list.
Managing partner Chris Whiteley said he was proud of the rankings, which have increased in number from last year. He said: “These latest accolades demonstrate our expertise across a wide range of disciplines and are testament to the talent and knowledge of our solicitors.
“While we are celebrating 150 years in business this year we have put a strong focus on looking to the future and building an unrivalled team across the South. We are pleased to see this has been recognised in the latest rankings.
“It’s fantastic news for our clients across Poole, Salisbury, Southampton and Winchester, who can rest assured they are working with the best.”
Among the teams singled out in the Legal 500 were the firm’s corporate and commercial, finance, employment and debt recovery divisions. The family, insurance litigation and licensing teams also appear on the prestigious list and Trethowans’ South West commercial property team, which incorporates the Poole and Salisbury offices, retained its top tier status in the rankings.
There were also two new listings for property litigation and commercial litigation in the South West, where the agriculture and rural property, personal injury and private client teams also retained their commendations.
