New MediaCityUK workspace to blend café culture with office working
Workspace provider Ziferblat is set to launch its second pay-per-minute sitting room in Manchester.
The company will blend café culture and office working with a 6,000 sq ft venue at Tomorrow, MediaCityUK’s newest creative co-working space.
Located across the building’s ground floor and mezzanine levels, Ziferblat MediaCityUK will aim to deliver a relaxed, creative environment for the scheme’s bustling business community.
Before the fit-out begins at Tomorrow, Ziferblat will hold a consultation with nearby businesses and residents with a view to incorporating their ideas and requirements into the venue’s interior design.
Lynn Haime, asset manager at MediaCityUK, said: “Tomorrow will be home to some of the region’s most innovative and exciting SMEs across the broadcast, digital, media and tech sectors.
“What’s great about Ziferblat is that its quirky concept lends itself perfectly to creatives – it’s relaxed, welcoming and something a little bit different, and we’re confident it’s going to be a great addition to the MediaCityUK community.”
The CEO of Ziferblat UK and Ireland, Colin Shenton, commented: “We are really excited to be launching the MediaCityUK Ziferblat in early 2017 and bringing our unique offering to the hub of digital and media creatives who live and work there.
“It’s important to us that every branch is different and meets the requirements of those visiting us, which is why we are taking this collaborative approach and consulting occupiers and residents before commencing the fit-out – we’re open to ideas and welcome feedback.”
Ziferblat MediaCityUK will be the company’s 17th branch globally.
In addition to its existing site on Edge Street in Manchester’s Northern Quarter, the firm plans to launch more venues in the city and across the UK in the coming year.
