International marketing agency OLIVER plots Salford Quays move

Global marketing agency OLIVER Group is set to establish a new base of operations in Salford.

Following its acquisition of Manchester-based marketing firm Aylesworth Flemming earlier this year, the company will relocate from Salford Quays’ Furness House building to take the 2,840 sq ft 10 Exchange Quay on a 10-year lease.

The property was previously occupied by air conditioning company Trox UK, which vacated the premises in August.

OLIVER UK’s chief executive officer, Sharon Whale, said: “Our philosophy at OLIVER is to be on the inside of our clients’ businesses literally and metaphorically, to provide better, faster, and more effective work.

“Our Salford Quays office is an instrumental part of that – Manchester is one of the most creative and innovative places in the UK, its economy is as big as Ireland’s and it has excellent transport links.”

The firm’s new base, Sharon said, will be vital in driving its growth in the North of England.

The letting deal was secured by commercial property consultant Canning O’Neill, which owns 10 Exchange Quay.

Mark Canning, director of Canning O’Neill, commented: “Originally built to be the marketing pavilion for Exchange Quay, No 10 will provide OLIVER with a fantastic image and the control that comes with a self-contained building.

“Yet it will also enable them to take advantage of all the benefits of being part of the larger Exchange Quays scheme.”
