Innova completes raft of North West projects worth £1 million
Interior fit-out specialist Innova Design Solutions has completed a raft of North West projects worth close to £1 million.
In jobs spanning six schools and colleges in the region, Stockport-based Innova designed, manufactured and installed more than 30 specialist educational spaces including science labs and ICT suites.
In early autumn, Innova completed work to manufacture and install specialist technology enabled digital learning zones at each of Salford City College’s five campuses and to provide a service to design, manufacture and install for nine other areas.
Innova has also worked with main contractor ISG on the brand-new Warrington University Technical College (UTC) where four cutting-edge science laboratories, a demo lab and a preparation room were installed.
The firm also completed state-of-the-art science labs for Stockport Grammar School, Warrington Collegiate, Longdendale High School in Tameside and All Hallows Catholic College in Macclesfield.
Melanie Laing, director at Innova Design Solutions, said each installation provides educators with facilities to deliver teaching and learning excellence. “As a Stockport business that completes work all over the UK – it is very exciting to work with schools and colleges close to home to provide students and teachers across the North West with top-class environments that give them the tools they need to achieve great results.
“The spaces in which teachers and pupils work can enhance learning and boost lesson engagement and that’s why we are delighted to have completed a number of projects across the region that will assist schools and colleges to reach their full potential.
“With numerous project completions that showcase cutting-edge learning layouts, the initial feedback from our clients has been fantastic, I’m so pleased to see that these new facilities have generated such a positive response.
“Speaking from a business perspective, we’ve enjoyed a strong 2016, which began with the expansion of our own facilities early in the year and this has carried on into the second half of the year with the completion of these projects playing a significant part.
“We’re now looking forward towards a strong fourth quarter of the year and further growth in 2017 – it’s a very exciting time for us.”
