Success of Nethermined Launches New Company

Owners of the highly successful Nethermined are delighted to announce a brand new, exciting company with a new addition on-board.

Michelle Poller and Michael Allen have been so impressed by the input of one of the assistants at the last Nethermined that they have brought him on-board as a director, launching a brand new company, End Game Events.

Mark Stevens is delighted to be a director of the new company, which will see Nethermined grow not only in this region but also expand to other parts of the UK and further afield.

22 year old Mark from Northallerton is the perfect bridge between the Youtubers, the players, the children, the parents and the business. He will deliver his part of the partnership alongside his current career commitments in the music industry, meaning he is concentrating on his two passions of music and gaming.

Nethermined 3 is on the 11th and 12th of February 2017 at Event Northumbria in Newcastle. The two-days will see fans of the online game Minecraft travel from as far as London and Scotland, if not further, to the North East. As well as a chance to meet a whole host of world-wide recognised Youtubers and bloggers, there is the chance to get hands on with some Minecraft challenges as well as the chance to play live with some of the Youtubers!

Michelle said:

“We initially invited Mark to join us after he far exceeded expectations as an event lead at the last Nethermined.

“He became an essential part of Nethermined last year and assisted Michael and I in the execution. After the success of 2016, we discussed him helping at future events to help with his career path of becoming an Events Manager at some point. However, his enthusiasm and professionalism in the setting up of our next event in February inspired us to show our commitment to him by setting up a new company and offering him the equal position of director.”

Information is on the Nethermined website about the Youtubers and location of Northumbria University Students Union, running from 11am to 5pm each day. Tickets are priced at £18 per day. VIP tickets are also available and include early arrival to meet the YouTubers, a wristband and t-shirt – an amazing Christmas present for any Minecraft lover! VIP guests are invited to arrive at 10am.

Mark, who is a qualified mechanical electrical engineer and also specialises in online security, is excited about the extras on offer above what is on at normal gaming shows, and about the fact that it is the only event of its type in the North or England. He said:

“I am delighted to be on board with End Game Events. Nethermined has had an amazing first two years but the third is going to be even bigger and better. Between Michelle, Michael and myself we are catering to every need of the attendees, the YouTubers and of the sponsors.”

“Minecraft and online gaming is a complicated place to be, and we aim to simplify security ensuring online safety for children and adults alike. Our event is fun and unique but it is also educational. It is not just about gaming and our key messages mean that we have a great platform to take Nethermined across the whole of the UK and one day international.”
