Law firm Andrew Jackson launches new office in Scarborough

Law firm Andrew Jackson has announced the opening of a new office in Scarborough.

This follows the launch of the firm’s York office in December 2013, and further strengthens its presence in North Yorkshire.

Father and son team Michael and Christopher Harrison, formerly of M J Harrison Solicitors, have joined Andrew Jackson to lead operations at the Scarborough office.

Michael Harrison said: “Having lived and worked in Scarborough for the majority of our respective careers, Christopher and I are delighted to be able to offer an enhanced service to our clients in this wonderful part of the world.

“We are so excited by the prospect of what lies ahead; not only for ourselves but also for our existing and future clients.”

Christopher Harrison added: “Joining a well-established, large regional firm with national and international focus will enable us, as part of Andrew Jackson, to bring a wider breadth of expertise, and a new level of focus and customer service to the local market we know so well.

“It’s exciting for us to be able to work as part of a team providing specialist knowledge with a full range of services across the board from corporate acquisitions, employment and commercial property through to agricultural law and international trade.”

Christopher and Michael join a team of solicitors who are based in the firm’s four offices in Hull, York, Grimsby and now Scarborough.
