Attercopia Uses RingCentral to keep its Workforce Connected
Attercopia, a full service digital agency, has praised RingCentral Office for making sure colleagues can stay connected despite having multiple offices across the UK. Headquartered in Huddersfield, Attercopia was founded in 1999 to provide a range of digital services for companies in a number of different sectors.
Following a number of acquisitions and mergers, the company is now a 50 strong, full service digital agency, providing marketing services, web design, SEO, PPC and social media support to clients across Europe. As a result of M&A activity, Attercopia inherited offices in Huddersfield, Manchester, Northampton and Dundee.
Along with acquiring new branches, the IT team obtained several different telephony systems. In 2014 the decision was made to replace the legacy private branch exchange (PBX) systems, and get everyone using the same solution.
Daniel Fielding, Business Analyst at Attercopia, said: “The old BT system had probably been around since the late 90s and while it was still operational, our business demands had changed in the 15 years since it was installed. As a full service digital agency, we needed a communications system that is as smart as our clients expect us to be.”
Following a quick migration, all 50 of Attercopia’s employees were set up and ready to go on Ringcentral Office.
Fielding continued: “One of the things that really impressed me was how quick and easy it was to get started. The entire migration process was painless and downtime was minimal, which is a very important factor when switching any business service provider.
“Right away we noticed a difference, particularly with the conferencing facilities. Naturally we have a lot of client and internal conference calls. Previously we were at the mercy of line limitations, where only a handful of people could be on the call at one time. With RingCental Office we no longer have this problem.”
As part of RingCentral Office, Attercopia employees also have access to mobile applications, for iOS and Android devices.
Fielding said: “The mobile apps have been a real game changer for the sales teams in particular. Because RingCentral numbers are virtual, calls to and from our direct lines can be made on our deskphone, mobile phone or softphone. It means that our salespeople never miss a call from a lead, no matter where they are.
“One thing that really stands out for me is the flexibility RingCentral Office gives us. We still use technology like fixed desk phones but having features like auto-forwarding when someone is off sick or on holiday just makes running a business that little bit less stressful. We don’t ever need to worry about who’s answering the phones because the calls always go to the right person or team.”
