Andrew Jackson teams up with Welcome to Yorkshire to make the region 'the destination of choice for business'
Law firm Andrew Jackson has entered into a partnership with Welcome to Yorkshire by becoming a member of its Y30 programme, an initiative that brings together a group of Yorkshire-based businesses to champion the region.
As a member of Y30, Andrew Jackson will work with the tourism agency to ensure that the region remains the destination of choice for businesses whilst capitalising on major events taking place across the region.
Sir Gary Verity, chief executive of Welcome to Yorkshire, said: “Our Y30 corporate members are made up of some of Yorkshire’s most ambitious businesses that are passionate about developing the county’s economy.
“I am delighted to welcome Andrew Jackson on board, which has a rich history here in Yorkshire. We’re looking forward to working with them to ensure the county is the destination of choice for business and leisure.”
Mark Pearson-Kendall, Andrew Jackson’s managing partner, added: “We are always looking to build long-term relationships that bring mutual success and Welcome to Yorkshire’s Y30 initiative is a great fit for us.
“With a long heritage dating back to 1874, we are passionate about Yorkshire and fully committed to the range and quality of service we provide for our clients across the region, as underlined by our further expansion and the recent opening of an office in Scarborough.
“We’re looking forward to showing our commitment to the region’s business community through our new partnership with Welcome to Yorkshire.”
