New contracts spell expansion for Winns
Winn Solicitors is expanding after winning two new 12 month contracts with independent insurance broker Saffron and Collingwood Business Solutions Ltd.
The national accident management specialists are now working in partnership with Saffron Insurance to offer a claims management service to their clients. Saffron Insurance controls £30m of GWP and has served businesses and individuals in East Anglia for over 60 years, employing 100 staff across 11 offices.
The partnership strengthens Winns’ ongoing expansion as it continues to claim more industry share, while exploring new areas of the market.
David Beswick, managing director of Saffron Insurance, said: “The association with Winn Solicitors was brought about by a shared client service ethos and the ability to offer a cost effective claims management solution to their clients.
“The partnership offers our clients a professional and seamless motor claims service with the added benefits of in-house legal expertise”.
Collingwood, who is specialist service provider to the insurance sector, has also appointed the award-winning firm to be the first point of contact for customers logging new claims. Winns will work closely and in tandem with Collingwood’s technical claims management team based in North Shields.
CEO at Collingwood Steve Welton said: “It’s an exciting time for the company as we continue to grow and we are thrilled to have appointed Winns as our first notification of loss team to further strengthen our plans for expansion.
“Winns has a sound track record in providing an efficient, first class accident management service to its customers, with excellent customer service and efficient operations and procedures in mind at all times. The firm’s core values and beliefs are parallel to that of Collingwood’s, and I’m confident for a positive future from the partnership.”
Collingwood Business Solutions Ltd, together with its regulated subsidiary Collingwood Insurance Services, currently employs 180 staff, is continuing to go from strength to strength and has several new products being launched in 2017.
Sales Director at Winns Chris Birkett said: “These are both significant accounts for Winns and are testament to the service we have provided to the insurance sector and their clients following a road traffic accident. We are very excited for the future.”
