Launch of Hull's MKM Building Supplies' 47th branch creates 17 new jobs
MKM Building Supplies, the Hull-based builders’ merchants, has created 17 jobs with the opening of a new site in Crewe.
MKM Crewe becomes the Hull-based firm’s fifth branch to open over the last twelve months and its 47th in total.
The new branch features MKM’s full portfolio of products: building, timber, plumbing, joinery, heating, and insulation.
MKM Crewe also contains a series of specialist, free services: these include brick-matching, take-off and estimation for builds.
In addition, the new branch has dedicated specialists on hand for the kitchen and bathroom showrooms.
As part of the builders’ merchant’s national ongoing growth plan, MKM has seen a ongoing flow of branch openings. Recently, new branches have been rolled out in Bishop Auckland, Honiton, Galashiels and Sharston (Manchester South).
Peter Eddleston, branch director at the Macon Way site, said: “We’ve handpicked a fantastic team here in Crewe. Everyone is delighted to have this opportunity to get to know and impress both the public and trade in the area.
“The team and I will be working hard to ensure that MKM’s renowned reputation for award-winning products and customer service is replicated here in Crewe.”
