Joanne Raisbeck promoted to lead family law team
INTERNATIONAL law firm Hill Dickinson has promoted Joanne Raisbeck to head up its Family Law team. Joanne, who joined Hill Dickinson from Pannone in 2013, takes the helm as part of a re-structure which will ensure the future growth and development of the team.
Joanne takes over from Tricia Cottrell who remains in a pivotal role within the team which is based at the firm’s HQ in Liverpool. Sarah McCarthy, who joined the team in June this year, remains in her position as Chartered Legal Executive.
Commenting on her promotion Joanne said: “The family law team has a reputation for delivering excellence through its expertise and our business has grown considerably in the last year. We deal mainly with high net worth clients across the north west and nationally.”
“We have re-shaped the team to ensure we are best able to serve all of these markets and are looking forward to another extremely successful year ahead.”
In the recently published 2017 edition, the Chambers directory named Joanne as ‘Associate to Watch’, she was also one of only six ranked Family Lawyers in Liverpool and the surrounding region and the team has achieved a Band 1 ranking in Chambers.

Clients include company directors, entrepreneurs, professionals in the property, legal and financial sectors, and entertainment and sports personalities.
Joanne’s appointment comes after the firm reported an excellent performance and impressive growth across its Business Services Group (BSG).
