Investment management firm McInroy & Wood launches Harrogate office
McInroy & Wood, the discretionary investment management firm, has established a new office in Harrogate to serve clients in the North of England.
Investment managers Liz Wild and Robin Irwin, have formed this permanent presence in the region to build upon McInroy & Wood’s existing client base.
Liz Wild has returned to McInroy & Wood, previously spending four years with the firm at its Haddington office earlier in her career.
Robin Irwin spent most of his investment career in London, before moving back to Yorkshire in 2012.
Tim Wood, chief executive of McInroy & Wood, commented: “We are delighted to establish an office in Yorkshire where we have long-standing connections.
“We believe it will enable us to provide an enhanced service to our existing clients in the area.
“It will also make our service more readily available to new clients looking for a truly independent firm with considerable experience and the competence necessary to invest directly in securities markets around the world.”
McInroy & Wood provides discretionary investment management for individuals, families, trusts and charities.
Established in 1986, the firm is based in Haddington near Edinburgh and has an office in London as well as Harrogate.
The company manages clients’ investments worth some £1.4bn.
