Manchester’s Cast UK expands into HR recruitment
Recruitment firm Cast UK has expanded with the launch of a division focused on human resources roles.
The Manchester-headquartered company’s new team will be led by managing consultant Dan Rowe as it sources executive- and management-level HR positions ranging from talent acquisition manager to group HR director.
The move, said Cast UK, comes in response to an increased demand for HR recruitment services from its existing client base, which has previously enlisted the firm to secure HR professionals for the procurement, buying, supply chain and logistics sectors.
Dan Rowe commented: “Having recruited senior level logistics roles for the last seven years, I have witnessed a huge increase in existing clients seeking our help and advice on recruiting high level HR roles in the logistics sector.
“HR within logistics, manufacturing and engineering is a niche specialism which we are uniquely qualified to recruit due to our long-standing supply chain experience.”
He added: “Having liaised with HR professionals since inception, Cast UK has an extensive network of clients and candidates in this market.”
Cast UK’s managing director, Wayne Brophy, commented: “We have successfully recruited many HR positions over the years and as demand increased over the last 12 months I felt strongly that we should create a human resources team for clients to take advantage of our expertise in this field.
“Dan has recruited in the logistics sector for a number of years, including senior HR roles, therefore it makes perfect sense for him to head up our new team.”
