HR Forum for employers dealing with poor performance

An HR forum in Sheffield on 10 February will equip managers who have human resources responsibilities with guidance on managing poor staff performance and misconduct.

The free event will be hosted by hlw Keeble Hawson’s employment team at its Commercial House office on Commercial Street from 9.15am-10.15am.

Barry Warne, partner and head of employment at hlw Keeble Hawson, said: “Our HR forum is designed for both those who may have an HR remit but who aren’t necessarily trained personnel specialists - such as managers in SMEs as well as HR specialists.

“It will examine the legal requirements employers must meet when managing performance and misconduct in accordance with the statutory Acas Code on Discipline & Grievances.”

Legal 500 continues to rate hlw Keeble Hawson’s employment team as a key player with the latest edition praising the department as ‘excellent, pragmatic and business focused’.

An exchange of views and questions will be encouraged throughout the session and a light breakfast will be served from 8.45am - giving attendees the opportunity to network and compare notes.

To reserve a place at the event, email simongorman@hlwkeeblehawson.co.uk or call 0114 290 6230.
