CEO of Fletchers Solicitors recognised in legal Hot 100
The CEO of the UK’s leading medical negligence and personal injury law firm, Fletchers Solicitors, has been named in the prestigious Hot 100 UK lawyer list.
Ed Fletcher beat off stiff competition to be named as a top management figure in the legal sector, in The Lawyer magazine’s ‘The Hot 100’.
Ed was praised for being at the forefront of legal market change and leading the sector in tech innovation. This was demonstrated through his firm’s recent partnership with the University of Liverpool to research and develop Artificial Intelligence solutions for the law industry, as well as being named in the “Technology 10” by the same publication.
Most notably, he was recognised for being the driving force behind the firm’s impressive growth. He helped Fletchers to become one of the fastest growing firms in the last financial year, with turnover rising by 37 per cent in 2015/16 from £12m to £16.5m.
The Hot 100 is a celebration of extraordinary lawyers based in the UK who have completed groundbreaking work within the last year. The list, published every year, follows months of research into candidates’ client work and contribution to their firms and the profession.
Ed Fletcher said: “I am delighted to be recognised in the Hot 100, alongside 13 other leading lawyers specifically paving the way in law firm management. As an organisation we strive for continuous improvement and push the boundaries in order to challenge the traditional way of doing things.
“We’ve achieved a lot over the last year, investing heavily in our workforce and setting up a new office in Manchester, in our quest to become a Top 100 law firm by 2018 and ensuring people are at the heart of everything we do. This accolade shows we are heading in the right direction and sends a great message internally and to our external stakeholders that the organisation is in safe hands.”
