St Paul Chambers set for move to Leeds’ Grade-II listed Park Row House

St Pauls Chambers is set to relocate into the Grade II-listed Park Row House in central Leeds.

The Leeds office of property consultancy Knight Frank has advised on the letting of a 2,054 sq ft office to St Pauls Chambers.

St Pauls Chambers, which is relocating from Park Place in Leeds, is taking a 10-year lease at a rent of £16.50 per sq ft.

Sam Jamieson, office agency surveyor at Knight Frank in Leeds, commented: “This letting is a ringing endorsement of Park Row House, one of the most iconic and elegant buildings within the professional core of Leeds.

“Its stunning Victorian façade marks it out as a prestigious historic building, but a comprehensive refurbishment inside has created an attractive, contemporary office environment, whilst retaining many original features.

“St Pauls Chambers is taking part of the third floor of this 30,828 sq ft building. This leaves just up to 3,395 sq ft on the third floor and 4,939 sq ft in a self-contained suite on the fifth floor. The flexible space provides opportunity for cellular, mixed or open plan layouts and all serviced by a contemporary reception”.

“Park Row House is located on Park Row, within five minutes’ walk of Leeds Mainline Station and on a bus thoroughfare. Leeds is located at the head of the M1 motorway and has easy access to the M62 and A1 routes”.

Mr Jamieson added: “Park Row marks the point at which the accepted office core and the retail area merge, providing the best in food, drink and entertainment. Trinity Leeds and the main shopping quarter is only a short walk away as is the civic quarter including Leeds Art Gallery, Leeds Museum, O2 Academy and Leeds Arena”.

“We are expecting strong interest in the remaining space at Park Row House. Its history, facilities and location makes the building a very attractive proposition for potential tenants.”

Alistair Russell of UK City Commercial advised St Pauls Chambers, while the Leeds office of Carter Towler were joint agents for the landlord.
