‘Game-changing’ Stockport software company to create jobs with £150k funding
Business management software firm Eticom Limited has moved its North West HQ and plans to create jobs with six-figure funding.
The Stockport-based company used the £150k boost from NatWest to purchase a 2,500 sq ft industrial unit on Coronation Street, which is now home to its software development team, sales staff and hardware production line.
Eticom hopes to take on four new employees for roles such as sales staff and hardware and software technicians.
Founded in 2012 by former software and electrical engineers Lee Roche and John Wild, today Eticom employs a team of seven and expects to turn over £3m in 2017.
The company’s cloud-based systems are designed to help commercial landlords save time and money by enabling them to manage buildings and tenants using a simple dashboard or app.
Lee commented: “The move to our new headquarters marks a period of significant growth for Eticom.
“The funding from NatWest will allow us to create new jobs and carve a place for ourselves in the wider marketplace.”
Simon Jones, a relationship manager at NatWest, said: “Lee and John have developed a successful business over the last five years, creating a niche, game-changing software for the commercial property industry, and with their new base in Stockport this growth is set to increase.”
