Apprentice scheme boosts Leeds based agency
Leeds business development agency Blueberry Marketing, is celebrating the success of its apprenticeship scheme, with the first two apprentices now qualified and joining as full time staff. Following the success of the scheme, Blueberry are planning to take on 5 more apprentices within the coming year, with the original team taking a large role in their development and growth.
The two apprentices will continue their own skill development through Blueberry Academy, an internal training scheme within the company that teaches key business, management and life skills. This includes modules in account management and social media, as well as training within the sales environment. Continuous development such as this drives Blueberry forwards and leaves employees with lasting skills they can utilise now and in the future.
Owner of Blueberry Marketing, Faresh Maisuria, said:

In creating our own apprenticeship scheme we have seen first-hand the huge benefits a scheme can bring. The apprentices themselves have also noted the benefits of the scheme and the impacts it has had on their own career.
Blueberry Apprentice, Ellie Palmer stated:
“Working at Blueberry is a great opportunity to train in a real sales and marketing environment. Speaking to different decision makers in businesses has helped me improve my sector knowledge and I’m really pleased to be involved in mentoring new apprentices that join Blueberry.“
The government estimate ‘a typical apprentice delivers productivity gains of over £10,000 per annum[1], contributing greatly to both businesses and the economy. The upcoming celebration of National Apprenticeship Week celebrates the success of apprenticeship schemes and the career prospects they can bring across the country. Schemes such as Blueberry’s offers a key insight to how apprenticeships can benefit the Leeds economy and jobs market.
