Manchester Fertility focused on growth

Leading private fertility clinic Manchester Fertility is set for further growth after securing a seven figure funding package from the Royal Bank of Scotland for investment in new IVF technologies, genetic screening services and innovative IT resources at its state-of-the-art clinic in Cheadle Royal Business Park, Manchester.

The funding follows record growth at the clinic, which was last month recognised as one of the North West’s best healthcare companies by being shortlisted in the Healthcare category in the Northern Powerhouse Northern Lights Business Awards, which celebrate the region’s most successful and innovative businesses. Over 2,000 patients were seen at Manchester Fertility in 2016, with the clinic team doubled over the past three years to service increasing patient numbers.

The funding from the Royal Bank of Scotland will be invested in further refurbishment to benefit infertile couples and patients from across the North West and beyond, including the addition of more specialist time-lapse Embryoscope incubators for advanced embryo selection, and Pre-Implantation Genetic Screening (PGS) services to check chromosome numbers in developing embryos.

IT technologies will include a patient portal; an electronic consent form system, plus further investment in the clinic’s Electronic Witnessing system which matches samples to patients electronically, and its patient database management system.

Jonathan Koslover, Joint Managing Director at Manchester Fertility, said: “Our strong success rates and transparent, patient-focused ethos for everything we do is why so many people not just from across the North West but the UK trust us to help them have a family.

“There are now over 5,000 Manchester Fertility babies thanks to the skills and expertise of our team. Our consistent growth and our passion in helping people to become parents would not be possible without financial backing.

“Royal Bank of Scotland have always supported in our vision, first funding the creation of our state-of-the-art clinic in Cheadle and now providing further financial investment to ensure we can help even more patients.”

Anne-Marie Jones, Director Healthcare in the North West for the Royal Bank of Scotland said: “I am delighted to support Manchester Fertility as they move into their next phase of growth. They offer an unparalleled patient experience, combined with the most cutting-edge and innovative treatments. It’s evident that the patient really is the priority and it’s why the clinic has been so successful, and will continue to be, as it attracts people from across the country and even abroad who want to benefit from its unique approach.”
