Prospects launches guide to degree apprenticeships
Leading graduate careers experts Prospects has launched a Guide to Degree Apprenticeships for Employers.
The new digital publication is intended to provide information and guidance to support employers in light of the introduction of the Apprenticeship Levy on 6 April 2017.
The Guide to Degree Apprenticeships for Employers follows a poll by City & Guilds that showed 33% of employers eligible to pay the new levy are not aware of its existence.
As well as information from the Skills Funding Agency on what the levy means for businesses, the guide features advice on degree apprenticeships and case studies.
Sarah Brookes, Marketing Director at Prospects said:
“Interest in apprenticeships has soared over the last couple of years, but there is still low awareness of the levy among some employers, both big and small. This guide is intended to provide an introduction as to what the levy may mean as well as explore the benefits of degree apprenticeships in particular.”
The Guide to Degree Apprenticeships for Employers is available to download at www.prospects.ac.uk/apprenticeships
