Lodders hires Dispute Resolution solicitor from international firm

Law firm Lodders has boosted its Dispute Resolution team with the appointment of property litigation specialist, Tara Goodwin.

Tara joins the firm’s growing team, led by partner and dispute resolution expert Jane Senior, from global legal business DAC Beachcroft, which she joined in 2012, and was most recently a solicitor in its Birmingham-based Property Risk Solutions sector team.

She previously worked in the Intellectual Property and Corporate Law departments at Nottingham firm, Freeth Cartwright LLP, and during the Legal Practice Course at Nottingham Law School, Tara was a member of the mentoring scheme of national law firm Browne Jacobson and completed a placement with niche licensing law firm Poppleston Allen.

Tara has also provided voluntary support to Mansfield Citizens Advice Bureau, Nottingham, and the charities Health Promotion and Samaritans.

Commenting on the Dispute Resolution team’s latest appointment, Jane Senior said: “As we continue to see high demand for our specialist dispute resolution services, Tara represents a strong addition to our team.

“Since I joined Lodders in 2015 to lead the team, the main aim has been to develop the firm’s general dispute resolution offering as well as the property dispute resolution service in particular, building on the strengths of the existing team. As instructions continue to grow, Tara’s appointment and property litigation expertise represents a significant step in continuing to deliver on this objective.”

Tara adds: “Lodders is well-known for offering excellent dispute resolution services and I am looking forward to being part of the growing team. I have a strong litigation background and hope to further my experience working on a broad range of cases for a variety of clients in my new role at Lodders.”

Lodders is a premier law firm in Warwickshire, Cheltenham, the North Cotswolds, and Gloucestershire.

Established for over 230 years, Lodders in particular works with private individuals, business owners, family businesses, landowners, rural communities, real estate and property owners, developers and investors. The firm has 25 partners, a portfolio of sector and market specific legal teams, over 130 fee earners and support staff across its office network, and has recorded year-on-year growth in recent years.
