Clarke Willmott celebrates newly qualified solicitor
Taunton law firm Clarke Willmott LLP is celebrating the successful development of one of its trainees to a fully qualified solicitor.
Ben Tasker has completed training at the Blackbrook Gate firm and now joins the Private Client team specialising in Wills, trusts, estate planning, powers of attorney and advance decisions.
Ben completed his undergraduate law degree (LLB) and postgraduate diploma in Legal Practice (LPC) at Plymouth University before joining Clarke Willmott in 2013 as a paralegal in the Private Client team.
Head of the Clarke Willmott Taunton office, Roger Seaton, said: “The development of our people is something we are committed to as a firm. In 2012 we introduced our policy of recruiting exclusively from our paralegals and the clear career progression path offered to staff is proving successful in all areas of our business.
“Across the firm, a further four trainees have qualified as solicitors this month.
“Congratulations to Ben who has shown great talent in the Private Client team. I’m certain his skills and experience will help deliver excellent services to our clients.”
With expertise in assisting Private Clients plan for their future in a tax efficient manner, Ben’s goal is to help people achieve their own objectives. He also advises on the options available to pass on wealth as well as the options available if clients were to become unable to manage their affairs, whether temporarily or permanently.
