SIF re-appoints Bond Dickinson to legal panel
National law firm Bond Dickinson LLP has been re-appointed to The Solicitors Indemnity Fund’s (SIF) legal panel. The panel has been reduced from eleven firms to just four.
Bond Dickinson has over 40 years of experience in the professional indemnity market and will support SIF in completing the run-off of its current and future solicitors’ negligence claims.
The revamped panel was selected by SIF’s Executive Officer, George Raubenheimer and its Chair, David McIntosh QC (Hon) Hon FCII.
Sushma MacGeoch, Partner in Bond Dickinson’s Insurance team, said: “We are delighted to have been re-appointed to the SIF panel on the basis of our long standing working relationship with SIF and our strong insurance and claims credentials. We look forward to working with SIF and other panel members.”
SIF’s Executive Officer George Raubenheimer added: “I would like to thank all of our Panel firms, past and present for the support they have provided to SIF and to the very many firms they have represented in providing first class defense work. Our ongoing Panel will continue to adopt a collegiate approach in managing SIF’s active cases, with SIF selecting the right firm for the right case.”
Last month (March), Bond Dickinson’s insurance practice won Insurance Team of the Year Award at the Legal Business Awards and the firm has also been shortlisted for Insurance Law Firm of the Year at the upcoming Post Claims Awards 2017.
Based in seven offices in the UK, Bond Dickinson provides legal services across a wide range of sectors including insurance, energy, manufacturing, financial services, retail, transport, real estate and private wealth.
