20% increase in demand for Easter eggs

FedEx Express, the world’s largest express transportation company and a subsidiary of FedEx Corp. (FDX), helped Lauden Chocolate meet a 20% increase in demand from last year for its Easter Eggs ahead of Easter Sunday. Lauden Chocolate is capitalising upon the export-driven chocolate market, with the UK exporting £245m worth of chocolate last year.[1] Based in Leeds, and producing approximately 30 tons of chocolate a year, the Lauden Chocolate Salted Caramel Easter Eggs are stocked in luxury high-end retailers as well as being exported around the world. This year they were enjoyed by international palettes and travelled to the USA and Europe as the demand for luxury products continues to rise overseas.[2] A top priority was ensuring the chocolates arrive in the same condition as when they left. With its specialist expertise of delivering time-sensitive products, FedEx now transports Lauden Chocolates all over the world.
