Wilmington to move to new Aldgate HQ after £7.3m leasehold disposal
Publishing company Wilmington is to move to new headquarters in Aldgate after disposing of the leasehold on its current head office.
The business, which provides risk, compliance and other professional education services, has exchanged contracts to sell the leasehold in its current Underwood Street home for £7.3m with completion expected by the end of June.
In turn, the business has also signed a new ten-year lease for a new London head office near Aldgate which will accommodate its London team and the training facility the business recently acquired as part of its multi-million pound acquisition of accounting training business SWAT Group.
Pedro Ros, Chief Executive Officer at Wilmington commented “The disposal of our Underwood Street premises is a key milestone for project 6th Gear and a major step in our drive to promote a more unified business.
“We are looking forward to occupying our new head office space which will reflect a modern working environment, encourage closer collaboration, and emphasise our core values and culture.”
