Venue bolsters corporate events team with new hire
The Venue at the Royal Liver Building has made a key addition to its events team with the appointment of a new sales and events manager, Jacqui Miller.
Jacqui is a corporate events specialist and joins the firm from the Holiday Inn Express in Stockport where she assisted in opening the brand new hotel as a sales manager.
She brings a wealth of experience to The Venue having worked in the events sector for more than seven years.
Before her role at the Holiday Inn Express, Jacqui worked at Everton Football Club for five years where she was responsible for the sales and marketing of non-match day events. A key part of the role was to grow the club’s corporate conferences, dinners and Christmas parties.
During her time at Everton, Jacqui also developed and increased the sales of new packages and ideas for the wedding and private events market.
In her new role at The Venue, Jacqui will concentrate on bolstering corporate and business contracts.
Jacqui said: “I really am so pleased to be joining the wonderful team at The Venue.
“The event space is absolutely stunning and is situated in one of the most iconic buildings in the UK.
“The Venue has a growing reputation in the corporate sector and I look forward to working with the team to help build on this success.”
Karen Yates, Regional Sales Development Manager at The Venue, said: “It’s a pleasure to welcome Jacqui to the team.
“This key appointment will strengthen the Venue’s corporate arm and allow us to further develop our growing client base within the sector.
“Jacqui’s years in the events sector bring an extra insight into the work she undertakes and we’re very-much looking forward to welcoming her on board.”
