Funding Director Leyton Jeffs Makes Partner at Sedulo
Sedulo Group, a Manchester based Finance Firm employing over 50 staff, has appointed current Funding Solutions Director Leyton Jeffs as a Group Partner following the launch of the hugely successful Funding Solutions division.
Leyton joined the company in September 2016, having spent 15 years working for the likes of RBS Invoice Finance, Aldermore and Boost Capital.
He set up the division which provides companies across the UK with access to funding including invoice finance, asset finance, mortgages, bridging and unsecured loans. Since September 2016 the business has helped more than 70 businesses, meaning a client has been matched to a funder approximately every 2 working days since inception.
Leyton joins 5 other partners in the Group, setup by Paul Cheetham in 2009, to complete the management team based in Manchester as Sedulo now look to open premises in the city centres of Liverpool and Leeds. Sedulo currently provides services across Accountancy, Audit, Tax Planning, Corporate Finance, Funding and Wealth Management, and in the past 12 months has growth of almost 100%.
Managing Partner, Paul Cheetham, says:
“This is a key appointment to the Group board for us. The funding division has exceeded all our expectations and Leyton fits right in with what we are looking for. This year the focus is consolidation in Manchester to provide the security for us to take the concept into other cities and we see Leyton as a key part of the management board to assist with this.”
Leyton Jeffs added:
“I have been delighted with the start we have made with the funding side of the business and I am confident that we can help even more businesses in achieving their ambitions. When I was looking for a partner to set up with, Sedulo were an obvious choice with their forward thinking and entrepreneurialism and I am excited to be appointed as a partner in the group as we look to scale up our operation into other cities.”
