Display Team UK to create jobs at new 8,000 sq ft Runcorn warehouse
Retail displays company Display Team UK Ltd is expecting to create up to six jobs after moving into a new Cheshire warehouse.
The company secured the 8,000 sq ft facility in Runcorn with the support of a £250k funding package from Lloyds Bank Commercial Banking.
Display Team UK’s new warehouse will offer it the increased capacity needed to expand existing contracts and pitch for new business.
The company creates product displays for tech firms, beauty product manufacturers and design agencies, installing them in high street stores across the UK.
As a result of the move and the funding – an invoice finance facility that enabled Display Team UK to release cash locked into unpaid invoices – the company now expects to double its turnover and workforce over the next 12 months.
The firm’s founder, Lee Bradburne, said: “When we first started the business in 2013 we stored all our equipment and stock in my parent’s garage, so it’s fantastic that we now have a large warehouse and employ six people.
“Moving to the new site means we can pitch for larger contracts and we now have both the flexibility and available working capital needed to complete them.”
He added: “As we’ve grown it’s been great to have the support of the relationship team at Lloyds Bank, and they are always available to offer guidance and discuss new ideas.”
Lloyds Bank Commercial Banking relationship manager Serona Ruthven commented: “Having the correct funding package in place is key to helping businesses like Display Team to grow and offering tailored solutions like invoice finance is one way that we’re helping Britain prosper.”
