North Yorkshire beer company marks national deals with range expansion

My Generation Beer Co., the North Yorkshire-based beer business, has undergone an expansion by scaling up production of its signature brew after of securing two national deals.

My Generation, a session pale ale, was previously only available as a cask beer, but has since been produced in 30L keg and 330ml can formats.

The expanded range follows the company’s listing of its session pale in keg format which is now available in Punch Taverns throughout the UK as part of its national craft beer rotation.

My Generation has also secured a listing with Asda, which will begin selling its beer in 330ml can format from the end of May.

The business has scaled up its 330ml can offering to full production, which is now available to the pub and retail markets.

At 4.7% ABV, My Generation is brewed from a blend of new world hops including Cascade, Galena, Magnum and Polaris, in Masham and distributed through Black Sheep Brewery.

The My Generation Beer Co. was established by beer and music veteran Jonny Kirkham in 2014, who has previously managed of the Jamaican beer, Red Stripe.

The company is also the official beer partner of Mod Radio.

Jonny said: “It is great news for My Generation as we are now in a position to extend our offering to new drinkers who share the same values and lovers of great beer and music.

“By bringing out new formats, we have been able to reach out to new drinkers as we’ve seen from the listings with Punch and Asda. This is a big step forward for the company and helps pave the way for the future.
