Leigh-based Allied Infrastructure Management set for investment following acquisition
Airport maintenance contractor Allied Infrastructure Management Limited has been acquired by national civil engineering business Colas Limited.
The staff and management at Allied, based in Leigh, will remain in place following the deal as the firm continues to operate as a separate entity to Colas.
West Sussex-headquartered Colas said the acquisition will extend the range of products and services it can offer its customers.
Further, the company has committed to investing in Allied, enabling it to remain “at the forefront” of airport maintenance and client services.
Manchester law firm Slater Heelis advised Allied Infrastructure Management on the transaction. Ballard Evans provided corporate finance advice.
Slater Heelis’ head of corporate and commercial, partner Simon Wallwork, said: “This deal brings together two very successful companies.
“It enables Allied Infrastructure Management to continue to flourish and build on its reputation as a first-class infrastructure contractor, as well as bolstering the services of Colas.”
