Clough & Willis presents £800 cheque to Bury Cancer Support Centre
A number of staff from law firm Clough & Willis have presented Bury Cancer Support Centre with a cheque for £800 which was raised at its annual quiz and via a number of other fundraising initiatives over the past couple of months.
The quiz took placed at Elton Vale Sports Club with 29 local business teams taking part. This year’s winners were I-COM International who scored 56 points followed by runners up Handelsbanken Bolton who notched up 54 points.
Shefali Talukdar, managing partner at Clough & Willis, said: “Bury Cancer Support Centre does such important work for those touched by cancer including patients, carers & relatives so we hope the money helps the team continue with its vital mission.” Many of our own team here at Clough & Willis have used the centre so there’s a personal connection which makes raising money that much more special.”
Janet Pearce–Langton from Bury Cancer Support Centre – added: “We’d like to thank everyone at Clough & Willis for their efforts. This money will help us carry on delivering our services to the community.”
