BusinessCloud editor Chris Maguire said: “When we began talking about this list last year we never imagined it would take off like it has. The calibre of the companies is absolutely unbelievable – you really wouldn’t believe some of the work these inspirational start-ups are doing and we feel very strongly that their work needs to be celebrated on a national platform.”
Companies from both lists attended a prestigious conference to hear from speakers in the tech sector about the secrets of a what successful start-up. Adam Curtis also took part in a roundtable of several of the companies on the lists to discuss life as a tech start-up and the challenges and opportunities faced.
