LandSec's letting effort hots up at Nova, Victoria
Property developers LandSec have announced a string of new lettings on their marquee Nova, Victoria development that brings total lettings to over 50% at the scheme.
Spread over the Nova North and Nova South portions of the development, the new tenants join the likes of BHP Billiton and private equity firm Advent International who are already housed at the sprawling SW1 development.
First up is global supply-chain firm Brambles who have taken 9,650 sq ft on the sixth floor at Nova South on a ten year lease, follwed up by Reply who have taken the entire second floor of the building.
London-based solicitors Child & Child have become the first business to let space at Nova North, having taken the entire second floor, which encompasses 22,222 sq ft on a 15-year lease.
It now means that 54% of available space has now been let across the 897,000 sq ft scheme, which includes Nova North, Nova South and The Nova Building, having reached practical completion at the beginning of April.
Following the latest lettings, Matthew Flood, Commercial Director at Landsec, commented: “We are delighted that these fantastic businesses have chosen to make Nova, Victoria their new home.
“It is an incredibly exciting time for the scheme with Nova Food and the two acres of public realm now open. The office space continues to appeal to a diversity of great companies and these latest lettings demonstrate real momentum following our launch in April”.
Khalid Sharif, Partner at Child & Child added: “We are all very excited to be moving to Nova North in a few weeks’ time. The scheme will offer our staff a great working environment and a fantastic platform to help continue growing our business.”
Brambles were represented by Cushman & Wakefield in the deal, while Landsec were represented by Knight Frank and Cushman & Wakefield.
