Oak Furniture Land creates seven jobs with 13,700 sq ft Wallasey showroom
Solid hardwood furniture retailer Oak Furniture Land has created seven jobs with a new store in Wallasey.
The showroom, its first the town and 80th nationwide, occupies a 13,700 sq ft unit at the Junction One Retail Park.
The Wallasey store features more than 20 ranges, including the company’s newly launched Classic and St Ives ranges.
Oak Furniture Land regional manager Richard Barnes said: “Following on from the success of our North West stores we’re thrilled to be opening our tenth store in the region, and our 80 th store nationwide.
“Reaching 80 stores is an exciting milestone for us and the Wallasey team is proud to be part of our expansion programme across the UK, which has seen the creation of over 500 jobs nationwide.”
Junction One Retail Park is run by property firm Derwent Estates.
James Maule-Ffinch, asset manager at Derwent, commented: “The Derwent Group is delighted to welcome Oak Furniture Land to Junction One Retail Park, they are joining an already great mix of tenants.”
Oak Furniture Land is based at Unit 8.
