International law firm backs West Yorkshire Economic Growth Conference
Corporate law firm Eversheds Sutherland (International) has been announced as the headline sponsor of the upcoming West Yorkshire Economic Growth Conference.
The company said it snapped up the prime sponsorship position as a mark of its support for economic growth in the Northern Powerhouse region.
Eversheds Sutherland currently operates across the North with offices in Leeds, Manchester and Newcastle.
Paul Cotton, senior office partner of Eversheds Sutherland in Leeds, said: “We enjoy supporting and advising clients across many different sectors and industries, and because of this, fully understand the economic pressures this country is facing.
“By continuing to work collaboratively, and by keeping our finger firmly on the economic pulse, we are able to ensure our clients are better equipped to meet these challenges and equally, make the most of the many opportunities available to them at a regional, national and international level.”
He added: “We are delighted to be supporting the West Yorkshire Economic Growth Conference to further explore ways we can support the economic agenda across West Yorkshire.”
Keith Griffiths, managing director of Built Environment Networking, the company behind the West Yorkshire Economic Growth Conference, commented: “We are delighted to confirm Eversheds Sutherland as our headline sponsor.
“Their global activity will bring a unique perspective to the regional economic debate as well as their expertise as one of the region’s leading and thriving law firms.”
The conference will take place in Leeds on September 22.
