Flybe Surprises Manchester Passenger with VIP Treatment
Flybe, Europe’s largest regional airline, surprised a lucky passenger on Friday (14th July 2017) with some special Purple VIP treatment before she boarded her flight from Manchester to Toulouse on Bastille Day, France’s National Day. Flybe operates seven routes to regional France from Manchester Airport and up to four flights a day to Paris Charles de Gaulle with one way fares from £29.99 including taxes and charges.
Passenger Deborah Mellor was collected from her home in style in an eight-seater limousine and was quickly whisked through security into Manchester Airport’s Escape Lounge. Flybe CEO, Christine Ourmieres-Widener, personally welcomed her onboard with a small presentation.
Ms Ourmieres-Widener, Flybe CEO said: “I am always keen to meet our passengers whenever I can so I was delighted to be able to be personally greet Ms Mellor before she set off for Toulouse. Seeing as it was Bastille Day, it seemed appropriate to choose a passenger taking one of our many flights heading to France. I believe it is so important to recognise our passengers and hopefully we helped to make Ms Mellor’s day a little bit more special. We are looking forward to surprising more passengers in the future.”
