Hull Victorian tavern hits the market

Fleurets, the leisure property specialist, has been appointed to market the Punch Hotel in the centre of Hull.

A classic example of a Victorian tavern, the Grade-II listed premises is a three storey building, decorated externally with ornate stone detailing, designed by Smith, Broderick and Lowther.

Originally dating from 1845, the property was rebuild in 1895-6 as commissioned by the Hull Brewery Company as part of a redevelopment of the area.

Adjacent to Princes Quay in the city’s central square as well as opposite the town hall and Maritime Museum, the property’s leasehold is available for £65k.

Simon Hall from Fleurets, who is marketing the property, commented: “It has never been a better time to invest in Hull.

“As a result of being the 2017 City of Culture, Hull is receiving a high proportion of investment, and this business already has a net turnover of £400k.”
