New steak and gin venue in Manchester to create 40 jobs
A new steak and gin restaurant coming to Manchester is offering dozens of employment opportunities.
Alston Bar & Beef Manchester, opening at the Corn Exchange later this year, will hold a recruitment day on Wednesday (September 13) as it looks to fill 40 open positions.
Jobs available at the 160-cover venue will include chef and front-of-house roles.
The £2m restaurant will be the first English venture from Glendola Leisure, the company behind Alston Bar & Beef in Glasgow.
Riki Bennet, general manager of the Manchester site, said he islooking for people with a passion for excellent customer service and an appreciation of all things steak and gin.
He commented: “We are looking for a team to bring our award-winning concept to life here in Manchester.
“Our mission is to raise the bar for meat and gin lovers and it’s essential we have a team of staff who are passionate about becoming experts in their field and delivering the best dining and drinking experience.”
He continued: “It will be a great place to work and develop your career in the industry, with the support of the wider Glendola Leisure brand which has a strong reputation for staff development, training and progression.
“We look forward to welcoming our new recruits and working with them to write this exciting chapter of our story here in Manchester.”
The recruitment open day will take place at Waxy O’Connor’s in The Printworks between 12pm and 5pm.
