Jobs created as York nursery opens doors to new premises with £795k HSBC funding

Muddy Boots Nursery has relocated into a new purpose-built facility in York after securing a six-figure funding package from HSBC.

Muddy Boots, previously based in The Old Manor School, is a family-run nursery offering places for children aged between six weeks and five years.

After acquiring a £795k commercial loan from HSBC, the nursery was able to invest in building a new £1.3m site at Boroughbridge Road.

Based within nine acres of land, the facility is eco-friendly, featuring solar panels, a sedum ‘living roof’, sensor-operated taps and hand dryers, and underfloor heating.

As a result of moving into a new facility, the business expects to recruit eight new staff members over the next 12 months.
