Manchester High Court Enforcement Office appoints Alex Hill to lead dedicated Property Services Division

Manchester-based High Court Enforcement Office, Andrew Wilson & Co, has recruited Alex Hill to lead the expansion of its existing property client base with the launch of a new dedicated Property Services division, specialising in evictions, repossessions, asset recovery and security.

The division will provide a comprehensive, speedy and cost effective solution to law firms, local authorities, landlords, lenders and property agents wishing to recover overdue rent or regain control of property.

Alex brings a wealth of experience to the business having previously managed a number of high profile High Court Enforcement operations, including the largest residential repossession in the UK and the removal of protestors from prominent government-owned land.

He has also managed sensitive long-term security operations for the transport, finance, utility and social housing sectors. In his role as Director of Property Services at Andrew Wilson & Co, Alex will be utilising this expertise to install preventative security measures to discourage protestors, trespassers and squatters from occupying a client’s building or land.

Sarah Roscoe, Managing Director of Andrew Wilson & Co, says: “We have a long history of protestor and activist management dating back to the mid 1980s. We are increasingly being called upon to secure the possession of unauthorised traveller encampments and to meet the growing demand for the removal of squatters from commercial properties throughout our major cities. The appointment of Alex enables us to meet this demand whilst providing a more comprehensive range of enforcement support services to our clients.”

Other services that are being offered under Alex’s leadership include the specialist removal of abandoned horses and livestock, the enforcement of Compulsory Purchase and Development Consent Orders, as well as Commercial Lease Forfeitures and Commercial Rent Arrears Recovery (CRAR).

Alex concludes: “I am extremely pleased to have joined Andrew Wilson & Co at this exciting time with large-scale infrastructure projects and potential court reforms around the corner. The company is well known within the industry for its unparalleled customer service and leading rates of recovery. I am looking forward to working with existing and new clients, utilising my skillset attained from 13 years within the property industry.”

A new Andrew Wilson & Co website is coming soon which will include a section dedicated to Property Services, along with online instruction and case tracking facilities.
