Leading recruiter’s growth plans fuels investment in Southampton

Leading construction and rail consultancy, One Way, has purchased new offices in Southampton as part of its growth plans to expand and invest in the city.

The firm, which already has operations at the Basepoint Business Centre, has recently purchased a 5000 square foot office, double the size of its previous location. The firm has also invested £190,000 in refurbishing the premises to bring it up to its required standard and plans to hire around 40 new professionals to work within its rapidly developing recruitment teams. One Way currently employs over 75 professionals across its network of offices in London, Liverpool and Southampton.

Duncan Bartlett, Operations Director at One Way, comments.

“We’re a highly ambitious organisation and have seen some fantastic results in recent years. We had outgrown our previous premises and wanted to invest in Southampton in the long term and this was the perfect opportunity. Our new offices are much more modern and should be an effective tool in attracting potential consultants to want to work for us. Our core sectors of construction, rail and new homes have all performed above expectations over the past 12 months and this was the next logical step in our expansion.”

“We set ourselves ambitious targets to grow our turnover to £75m and having larger offices, which allow us to hire more consultants, will help us to reach that goal much quicker than in our previous location. We’re seeking around 40 new hires, so anyone based in or around Southampton that’s interested in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial career with the potential to earn a considerable amount of money, should get in touch. The doors open at the beginning of October and we’re excited about what this new future holds for One Way.”
