VIRTUS reveals plans for London's biggest data centre campus

VIRTUS Data Centres (VIRTUS), where the cloud lives in London, has continued its rapid expansion announcing plans for two new adjacent facilities on a single campus near Stockley Park.

The new site is to be the most advanced in the UK and aims to create West London’s largest data centre campus for the capital. Establishing this new campus hopes to further strengthens VIRTUS’ position as the largest hybrid colocation provider in this area.

The two buildings, on the secure eight-acre campus, total 34,475 m2 and are known as VIRTUS ‘LONDON5’ and ‘LONDON6’. The location of the campus is situated 16 miles from Central London on the main routes from London to Slough, and seven miles from Slough.

Work has begun to fit out space in LONDON5 for customers who have already committed. General availability is expected in early 2018.
