Erica Allen, AllBright

To strengthen the company’s executive team, AllBright has appointed Allen as chief operating officer of its female-led company specialising in women founders and executives. She is to work closely with the co-founders, Debbie Wosskow and Anna Jones, on strategy and execution.

Allen’s has much experience in expanding business for the UK’s HomeAway during its journey from startup through to exit and acquisition by Expedia.

Allen has also held product, strategy and management positions at Monica Vinader, Net-a-Porter and Richemont.

Dominic Wilson and Gary Waanders, Bryan, Garnier & Co

Bryan, Garnier & Co has appointed two new experienced hires to join its healthcare division in London - Dominic Wilson, 59, and Gary Waanders, 54.

Together, the duo have conducted more than 15 transactions and raised more than £370m since 2014 working on various IPOs and secondary fund raisings.

Dominic Wilson has held a variety of positions in the healthcare sector during his long career. For example, he started his financial work as a healthcare analyst based in New York, for Kleinwort Benson Securities.

Gary Waanders has experience working in the life sciences and financial sectors and since 2001 he has been an analyst in London where he has previously worked as director of healthcare Research at Zeus Capital, Nomura Code Securities and KBC Peel Hunt.

Wilson and Waanders commented: “We are delighted to join Bryan, Garnier & Co and to continue working together. We have known and respected the firm for many years.”

Olivier Garnier, managing director, added: “I am pleased to welcome Dominic and Gary to our dedicated healthcare franchise, made up of over 20 senior professionals, to continue to build our business as the investment bank of choice.”

Nick Donofrio, Quantexa

The high-growth data startup Quantexa has appointed Nick Donofrio as its new chairman. Donofrio is the former EVP of innovation and technology at IBM, and will support the company’s strategy expanding into international markets.

Quantexa uses real-time entity resolution with network analytics and AI to put together vast data sets within its technology. Donofrio had a 44-year tenure at IBM and was credited as a technology innovator for the company.

On his appointment, Nick Donofrio said: “I am thrilled to be joining Quantexa at such an exciting time in their national and international growth.

“Their pioneering, revolutionary technology is quickly pushing them to the forefront of Entity Resolution and Network Generation and I am looking forward to working with the team as we continue to provide innovation and value to our clients.”
