Manchester’s Peninsula Group to support Canadian firms with expansion into Toronto
Employment law, HR and health and safety services provider Peninsula has expanded into Canada.
The company’s new office, located in Toronto, will focus on offering professional support for Canada’s small and fast-growing businesses.
Approaching its 35th anniversary, Manchester-headquartered Peninsula has overseas operations in Ireland, Northern Ireland, Australia and New Zealand.
The firm said growth in its Australian business has been particularly rapid, expanding from 100 employees when it opened in 2012 to almost 1,000 today.
Peninsula currently employs 2,500 people globally and serves over 75,000 clients.
Peter Done, the managing director and founder of Peninsula Group, said: “The business landscape is becomingly increasingly more global so we are delighted to be expanding our services to Canada.”
“Toronto is the perfect location for our Canadian operation as it reflects our philosophy as a business in terms of innovation, creativity and entrepreneurialism.”
He added: “At Peninsula, our main aim is to provide the very best support for our clients. That is what drives us and keeps the business succeeding, expanding and taking on new challenges both in the UK and globally.”
